Frederick Stroebel commented:
“Sanlam is proud to be part of the first Corporate Games to be hosted in South Africa. It was a truly magnificent weekend with brutal competition and friendly camaraderie on and off the field. There is no doubt in our minds that this will grow to one of the big sporting events on the calendar for Cape Town and corporate social events in South Africa. We thank the organisers for all their arrangements at the various venues across the Peninsula and congratulate them on delivering a very successful event!”
Stuart McConnell commented:
“We are extremely excited about our involvement in the Corporate Games 2013. Having the support of the Games as their charity allows us to provide Siyabulela Primary School in Langa with Tag Rugby equipment, training and exposure to sport through our Adopt a School programme.
There are a variety of sports to choose from with added sports from last year’s already fun filled list. Participants can select from dragon boat racing, karting, running, netball, soccer, mountain biking and lets not forget tag rugby to mention a few.
The Corporate Games have been receiving an enormous amount of support from influential corporate companies who participated in 2012, who are eager to gain even more from the event in 2013. With even more media, business and civic partners on board, the second edition of the Cape Town Corporate Games will without a doubt, be even bigger and better than the year before.
We want to thank Craig Kolesky, our photographer for the evening, as well as our guests speakers Frederick Stroebel and Stuart McConnell.
